Fuel Procurement

From the management and negotiation of external contracts to in-house ‘forest to walking floor’ fuel provision. As an example in tandem with the Operation and Maintenance of a Scottish distillery, we also provide long-term fuel supply under contract. We purchased standing timber under long term contract and are pioneering the practice of whole tree harvesting.  Being wholly responsible for their fuel supply, we can also ship biomass from other West of Scotland sources.  Timber is moved to a purpose built facility which is part of the boiler house, where whole logs are chipped using equipment owned and managed and operated by Dallol.
